This is Biltong! A delicious air cured meat snack that originated in South Africa. Biltong aficionados consider biltong to be superior to jerky by virtue of the lack of heat and sugar involved in production.

Each batch is built to your specifications according to our available supply, hand cut, sliced to perfection, and marinated for 30-35 hours. We then hook and hang your entire batch in one of our Biltong boxes for 5-7 days, depending on weight. Your batch is kept together to completion. We deliver vacuum-sealed individually wrapped ‘Biltong steaks’ ready to cut and eat, or pop in the freezer.

We cure a minimum of five days to achieve a 5-log reduction of Salmonella per USDA regulations. We strive to maintain cleanliness practices superior to local laws and regulations to ensure delicious biltong. If you encounter a quality issue, please contact us.
